1. Esplanade du Trocadéro

Why it’s great
It offers one of the most iconic, straight-on views of the Eiffel Tower —ideal for photography. The wide open space and fountains in front of the tower provide a dramatic foreground.
Especially magical at sunset or when the tower lights come on.
Best time & tip
- Go early in the morning if you want fewer crowds.
- At dusk or early evening is phenomenal for the lighting and the tower’s sparkle.
- Don’t just stay on the main terrace: explore the side paths for different angles.
2. Pont de Bir‑Hakeim (Bir-Hakeim Bridge)

This bridge gives a creative and slightly more unique angle — you’ll get the tower framed by the bridge’s structure and the Seine.
Best time & tip
- Mid-late afternoon into evening gives you good lighting and fewer tourists than Trocadéro sometimes.
- Use the pedestrian level of the bridge (not just the roadway) for safe and wide photo angles.
3. Rue Saint‑Dominique

Why it’s great
This is a street-level, local feel view: you’ll see the Eiffel Tower peeking above Parisian cafés and typical buildings. It’s free and quieter — less “tourist trap”, more “live in Paris” vibe.
Best time & tip
- Morning or early afternoon for nice light and calmer streets.
- Walk along Rue Saint-Dominique toward Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg for the best framing.
- Bring a zoom if you want to isolate the tower and blur out the street distractions.
